What is being bought
London Stadium intends procuring the supply and install of photovoltaic materials on it’s c.24,000 sqm roof. This high-profile building offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase cutting edge technology. The key driver for the project is to significantly reduce carbon emissions, in line with a commitment to reach ‘net zero’ carbon position by 2030. Energy would mostly be used to meet stadium day-to-day needs, but storage or export of energy will be considered.
