Funded by the 2024-2025 Supplementary Substance Misuse Treatment and Recovery (SSMTR) Grant from the Central Government, the initiative seeks to provide a holistic and coordinated approach to care. It will involve comprehensive assessments of both mental health and substance misuse, the creation of individualised care plans, and the provision of integrated interventions by secondary mental health psychiatrists and social workers. A dedicated mental health care coordinator will oversee the coordination of clinical services across both mental health and substance use sectors. Additionally, personalised budgets will be allocated to individuals to meet their immediate basic needs and support their social and emotional growth, contributing to long-term recovery and well-being. This pilot project represents an innovative approach to supporting individuals with co-occurring conditions, aiming to improve outcomes through more integrated and personalised care.\nThis is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award."
