Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and NHS England (NHSE) jointly commission the Integrated Service. Greater Manchester was the first site in England to bring together police custody healthcare and liaison and diversion into one integrated service. The integrated service provides Police custody healthcare and Liaison and Diversion (L&D) services in Greater Manchester Police (GMP) custody suites and Greater Manchester Magistrates Courts and Crown Courts with a support worker function to assist arrested persons to access support services following their release from custody or court. The current contract worth approx. £5m pa and is currently in its fourth year. The contract terminates on 31st January 2022. The existing contract was let on a 3 year plus 1+1 year basis. A new contract will commence on 1st February 2022 and therefore a re-procurement is proposed. The purpose of this initial market engagement is to understand the nature of interested suppliers and explore what innovation might be brought to this service. Importantly given the current situation with respect of the Corona virus the Commissioners would like to understand the capacity of suppliers and their ability to respond to tendering the short term. This engagement provides some information regarding the current contract and asks suppliers to provide information relevant to both the requirements and timing of the future tender. We would like to hear from any organisation in the market that might be interested in bidding for this contract. For details and to respond please visit https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ and search for DN519589 Integrated Healthcare in Custody
