- The service provides additional clinical capacity through specialist endoscopists, endoscopy nurses, healthcare support workers, decontamination staff, and administration personnel operating within Health Board facilities at University Hospital Llandough and the University Hospital of Wales. The continuation of this resource remains essential pending the appointment of additional substantive gastroenterology consultants and the completion of a longer-term procurement exercise.
