What is being bought
Providers within the marketplace are being given notice of NHSE's intention to reopen the Independent Investigations Framework. The framework was originally awarded as a bespoke process and is being re-opened under the “light touch regime” of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as described in the original Contracts Award Notice 2019/S 214-526090. The Framework will re-open with the original requirements of completion of a Qualification Questionnaire to qualify for acceptance onto the framework agreement. The framework is split into five lots: Lot 1 - Individual Independent Investigations Lot 2 - Partnership Investigations Lot 3 - Local Care Systems Lot 4 - Health & Social Care & Partners Investigations Lot 5 - Systematic Independent Investigations We intend to reopen the Framework in May 2022. Further information will be available when the framework is reopened. This notice is not a call for competition.

    The framework is divided into lots that meets the technical and geographic requirements for the NHS. The procurement is intended to commence in May 2022 with a call for competition notice published on FTS. It remains the NHS's intention to have in place a flexible and responsive framework to enable the NHS to comply with the NHS Serious Incident Framework. This framework will open and be for the use of all NHS Organisations. This framework will be let on behalf of NHSE working in partnership with East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub.
