Manchester Airport require a third party supplier to operate and manage the airport consolidation centre on site. The consolidation centre receives and security screens all the retail goods sold within the Airside Area. The Consolidation Centre is key to the Airport Retail Operation as all goods sold within the Airside Retail Area need to pass through the centre and its regulated screening process before it can be transported Airside. The Consolidation Centre is required to be operated by a company who are experienced in logistics and can demonstrate the capability of screening products to regulatory standards to ensure all goods that enter the Airside Area are safe. Manchester Airport are looking for a logistics partner who will have a flexible approach to working with them as the airport continues through its transformation programme being able to respond to changes in terminal logistics routes, designs, adapting technology and services required to meet each change.
