What is being bought
**PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC TENDER COMPETITION - PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE ONLY** The Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland (PONI) and CPD are conducting Pre-Market Engagement exercise with a view to preparing the procurement and to inform economic operators of the opportunity of the future procurement requirements. The PONI is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a Supplier to provide provision of a Case Handling System (CHS) to include implementation, support and future developments. Prior to initiating the procurement the OPONI wishes to establish the level of market interest in participating in the procurement process. Please see the Pre-Market Engagement exercise document (inc. questionnaire) for all relevant details. The purpose of the document, which is a Pre-Engagement Information Memorandum and Questionnaire, is to seek advice/ information from organisations who may wish to tender via the procurement process. The objectives of this exercise are to: • Gain initial supplier awareness, engagement and opinion, resulting in a confidence around viability of concept; • Gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions; • Understand risks and issues not previously considered; • Inform the outline business case; and • Inform the procurement strategy. The next stage in the process will be considered once this Pre-Market Engagement exercise has been completed. **PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING FUNCTION on eTendersNI, BEFORE 3PM ON WEDNESDAY 17 MAY 2023**
