Coverage: 50 active published awards; 43 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Humber, Coast and Vale Local Maternity System are looking to procure a single Maternity IT System for their 3 / 4 local Trusts. It is anticipated that a new provider will be in place for 1 April 2022. Humber, Coast and Vale Local Maternity System (LMS) is reviewing how clinical, activity and financial information is shared between their maternity provider units, with a view to being able to achieve the requirements of the 2016 Better Births report, 2019 NHS Long Term Plan and the 2020 Ockenden recommendations as efficiently as possible. The Contract will be for a term of 60 months, with the possibility of extending the term for a period of 24 additional months beyond the initial contracted duration by agreement between the Contracting Authority and the Provider. The three Trusts within the LMS and their current Maternity Information System provision are as follows: Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) - 5,000 births per annum on one site (inc. maternity-led unit and labour ward) and home births - Lorenzo Maternity, linked to Lorenzo EPR Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Foundation Trust (NLaG) - 4,000 births per annum on two sites with labour wards, occasional births in a maternity-led unit and home births - CMIS (HD Clinical) York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (YTHFT) - 4,500 births per annum on two sites with labour wards and home births - CPD (bespoke in-house solution) Harrogate and District Foundation Trust (HDFT) are part of the Humber Coast and Vale Integrated Care System (ICS) and the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Local Maternity System. HDFT may be considered as part of this procurement but are also looking at their partners in the West Yorkshire & Harrogate LMS for the provision of a Maternity IT System. Currently HDFT have up to 15,000 births per annum and the 3 Trusts above have up to 15,000 births per annum. Potential bids must include provision for HDFT as part of the contract, but Humber Coast and Vale LMS reserve the right to withdraw HDFT from this procurement prior to contract award. Further details will be provided to shortlisted providers within the Invitation to Tender (ITT).
