The purpose of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals framework is to support local and national priorities by providing a flexible, national resource for scrutiny, regulation and inspection activity. The Framework Agreement is being set up by HIS and, once it is operational, the contracting and financing of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals’ work will follow HIS procedures. The legal and financial terms and conditions for Healthcare and Public Health Professionals will therefore be those used by HIS.
