Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Hand and upper limb transplantation is possible following cadaveric donation. The surgery involved is extremely complex and recipients have, as with other cadaveric transplants, to take immunosuppressive drugs for life to prevent the transplanted organ being rejected. This service provides assessment, transplantation and follow-up. This is a very complex service to deliver - both from a patient assessment point of view and from a technical surgery point of view (the 10-hour operation requires eight plastic surgeons, one for each donor limb and one for each donor stump). An award has been made following Direct Award Process A. The lifetime value of the contract is £1,706,000.00 . The contract start date is 1st April 2024 for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
