Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Final notice and decision to award a contract for GP Services to Bluebell Unit under Direct Award Process C of the Provider Selection Regime. Contract Details: Final decision by the decision makers, Stockport NHS FT (the FT) to award the contract to: Marple Cottage Surgery, 50 Church St, Marple, Stockport SK6 6BW. The contract will run from 1st October 2024 up to 30th September 2026. Reasons for selecting existing supplier against the Key Criteria: Quality and Innovation - For a number of years the supplier has been providing safe and efficient Primary Care medical services for patients with No Criteria to Reside who require care and support, at the Discharge to Assess (D2A) facility managed by the Trust, at The Meadows. This contract supports the Trust in delivering all the requirements for the D2A model of care which is supported by national guidance. The supplier has sufficient capacity to be able to provide the service from the new contract start date. Value - The supplier delivers seamless inpatient care Mon - Fri 8.00am - 6.30pm. Outside of the contracted hours, the medical cover for the supplier's registered patients is provided by the Out of Hours local provider service. A GP lead ensures ongoing care plans are in place for patients; that appropriate medication is prescribed and available and that issues and concerns are raised at contract meetings and escalated prior to this where appropriate. The supplier has a proven record of working well with the FT to provide the service. Integration, collaboration, and service sustainability - The supplier has worked collaboratively with the FT to develop local processes and procedures to ensure that a safe and effective insourced service is provided on-site at the Meadows. The supplier has an identified GP lead but has allocated sessions from salaried GPs to cover this work, back filling general practice work, to ensure continuity of care. Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice - As well as providing daily ward rounds (Mon - Fri) and next day assessments of newly admitted patients the supplier attends weekly MDT meetings, provide timely discharge summaries (within 24hrs) and contribute to maintaining an average length of stay in the unit of
