There is a 2-month extension option permitted within the contract.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by more…providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23rd September 2026. This contract has not yet been formally awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

Representations by providers must be made to decision makers, in writing to [email protected] by 23rd September 2026.<br/><br/>This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.<br/><br/>Decision Makers:<br/>The Director of Procurement and the Trust's Chief Financial Officer (Delegated to Director of Operational Finance) approved the decision to award via Option C on 25/08/2026.<br/><br/>No Conflicts of Interest have been declared by the Individuals making the decision.<br/><br/>The basis for awarding awarding this proposed Contract was in accordance with the PSR Regulations and included (a) The Authority satisfying itself that the considerable change threshold was not met and (b) The Authority satisfying itself that the existing provider is satisfying its existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard.<br/><br/>The decision was supported based on performance assessed against the PSR Key Criteria:<br/><br/>Key Criteria 1: Quality and Innovation (Weighting 45%)<br/>Key Criteria 2: Value (Weighting 25%)<br/>Key Criteria 3: Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability (10%)<br/>Key Criteria 4: Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice (Weighting 10)<br/>Key Criteria 5: Social Value (Weighting 10%)<br/><br/>The assessment determined that the existing provider is satisfying it's performance against the current contract and were likely to continue to meet the key criteria under the new contract.
