GP Led Out of Hours Services for NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded in accordance with a competitive process (Regulation 11). This procurement underwent review during the standstill period by the NHS STW ICB PSR Review Panel and the NHSE PSR Review Panel, in which it was confirmed there had been no breach of PSR and it was recommended that STW ICB should proceed with awarding the contract for GP Led Out of Hours Services in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin as originally intended. The initial Contract Award Recommendation Report was approved by ICB Board (January 2025), with bidders notified of the Intent to Award on 4th February 2025. The further award decision following the review and recommendation of the procurement by the NHSE PSR Panel, was confirmed by ICB Board on 04th July 2025. - No Conflicts of Interest were declared by the NHS STW ICB PSR Review Panel, NHSE PSR Review Panel or the ICB Board Members. - The contract will be for a period of three years starting on 01/10/2025 to 30/09/2028 with the option to extend for up to a further 24-month period. - Date of contract award following completion of the standstill period: 14th July 2025. - Total value of the contract (excluding VAT): £32,520,000 - For clarification purposes the county of Shropshire covers Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
