GP and Community Pharmacy services are very specific and specialised and there is no

direct competition that would be able to deliver these services. Contracts rely on patient

information that only local GPs have access to locally Commissioned GP & Pharmacy Services cover both mandated and non-mandated functions aimed at improving the health and well-being of the local population. These include:

Chlamydia Screening and Treatment
Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
NHS Health Checks
Needle Exchange
Supervised Consumption
