Published requirement description

Translink is establishing a Framework for the provision of Mechanical and Electrical works to support the delivery of Translink’s programme of capital and maintenance works. The objectives of this Framework are to deliver the following:

  • Excellent health, safety and environment performance through proactive leadership and innovation
  • High-quality Mechanical and Electrical projects and services
  • An open, collaborative approach to delivery between Supplier and Client organisations
  • Value for money and efficiencies over the life of the Framework
  • Leave a positive legacy for the Public Transport Industry in Northern Ireland Upon appointment to the Framework, the Supplier and Client teams will work collaboratively to further develop these objectives and jointly define methods of measuring if benefits have been achieved. Your response must be submitted via the relevant Call for Tender (CfT) on the eTendersNI portal. Instructions on how to submit your response can be found within the Interactive Walkthrough on the eTendersNI Homepage. No other method of submission will be accepted.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 50 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “FW106 M and E Contractor Framework” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 7 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
