Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

7.1 Selston Parish Council (the 'Authority' or 'Council') is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified entities (the 'Tenderer') to install a new Circular path adhering to the approved design brief. The successful bidder will be expected to meet with members of the Parish Council to fine tune their designs and then construct the path to the available budget and agreed timescales. The works need to be invoiced by 31st December 2021. 7.2 The project is listed as a priority Project in Selston Parish Council's Play Strategy. 7.3 Site Address: Friezeland Recreation Ground, Church Lane, Underwood, Nottinghamshire, NG16 5SF. 7.4 The Council's detailed requirements are defined in the Specification. 8 Contract Duration 8.1 The successful tenderer will have a maximum of 8 weeks, from date of order, deliver the project . 9 Contract Value 9.1 The maximum budget for the supply equipment is: £60,000 + VAT 10 Insurance & Indemnity 10.1 The Authority requires the following minimum levels of insurance / indemnity. The Contractor will be required to hold the appropriate levels for the duration of the contract: 10.1.1 Employer's Liability: £10,000,000 (Minimum requirement) 10.1.2 Public Liability: £5,000,000 each and every claim 10.2 If tenderers do not currently meet any of these levels, they should confirm in their response that they commit to getting the required level(s) in place should they be awarded a contract, and ensure that they have included any additional cost for this within their submitted price. 11 Intellectual Property 11.1 Unless otherwise specified or agreed, it is the intention of the Authority that all intellectual property rights in all works or supplies provided in relation to this quote which are written or produced on a bespoke or customised basis, including, without limitation, all future such rights when the said works are created, shall be owned by the Authority, and the Supplier shall ensure that it executes all documents necessary to effect such ownership. 11.2 Where the Supplier provides existing intellectual property rights protected material to the Authority in relation to this quote, it shall disclose this to Authority; warrants it has the right to do so; and shall fully indemnify and hold the Authority harmless against all loss or liability arising from any third party intellectual property rights claims arising both from such existing material and in relation to any such bespoke work. 11.3 Except as provided above, both parties retain ownership of their pre-existing intellectual property rights protected material. Part 3: Specification 12 General Requirements 12.1 To create an all weather surface path. Replace the worn out surfaces on the existing old tarmac path and replace with a new level safe 1.5 metre wide tarmac surface. To produce a 500 metre circular track that is led onto by 3 smaller entry paths. The 500 metre track will be an exact measurement as it is desired and will be designate as an outdoor exercise and training facility. 13 General Considerations 13.1 It is strongly advised that those tendering for the works should undertake a site visit to familiarise themselves with the site and therefore be able to produce a more informed quotation. 13.2 The recreation ground is publicly accessible; the car park is open during the centre's opening hours. 14 Dimensions 14.1 Path 1.5 metres wide and incorporating a 500 metre circular route 15 Construction 15.1 The path is to be constructed using timber board edging strips, place weed stop along the bottom and the sides. Stone up using quality hundred mil type one to a depth of 150 mil, using type one underneath. Place 50mm of base tarmac on top of the prepared stone, top with a 30mm wearing course to finish. 16 Location of path 16.1 Please see the attached site drawing and photos below 17 Site Set Up 17.1 The cost of the project should factor in the installation of temporary site fencing, as required, to be maintained by the successful Contractor throughout the construction work phase. This is required to securely enclose the site and is expected to be removed upon completion of works. Site safety signs and notices with Contractor call out number should be erected on all sides of the site fencing to inform the public of the works. These signs should also incorporate a plan of the site showing the general public what is being constructed.
