Forest Research Website — UK public procurement notice

The purpose and scope of this procurement is to put in place adequate resource to manage the hosting of:

• our main public-facing website (through FR's own Microsoft Azure Cloud Services setup - which the supplier will manage on our behalf)

• the staging website (a duplicate site used for development and testing, only visible to internal FR staff)

• the content delivery network (CDN) that we use to deliver content, such as images and files, to the website

This procurement will also:

• provide support and maintenance for the aforementioned websites/network, managed through a bank of hours and support/ticketing platform.

• development of the website via use of available support hours, or where this isn't possible or desirable, through additional funding - although we do not expect the latter to be considered part of the financials for this project.
