Coverage: 11 active published awards; 11 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Westminster City Council is looking to launch a new Folding Bike Hire programme throughout the borough. The programme will deploy automated folding bike rental sites across Westminster and enable residents, commuters and tourists to use folding bikes 24 hours a day.
The aim of this project is to incorporate the Folding Bike Hire Programme into the already establishes public transport system.
Westminster City Council is looking for a supplier who can deploy the following throughout the City:
- A minimum of 50 folding bikes.
- Automated docks in 7 strategic locations, primarily at transport hubs and some Westminster housing estates.
- Over a contract length of 5-years.
We are keen to understand the level of appetite for this opportunity from the market.
Participation in these engagement opportunities does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered.
The Authority reserves the right, at its own discretion, to withdraw from the process and pursue alternative routes to market for the provision of these services, should it decide to do so.
