Published requirement descriptionThe services to be provided under the contract are shared support services for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism support needs in day and work opportunity settings.
The day service element is delivered from Hwb Cyfle, a purpose build day service centre based in Queensferry which opened in 2019 to replace the former Glanrafon day centre. Work opportunities services are delivered from five further sites and the supported employment teamwork with individuals to support them accessing volunteering and internship roles to gain sustainable, paid employment.

Publisher note: The extension will permit the continuation of the successful collaborative working relationship with the incumbent provider. This will facilitate and preserve service continuity for the substantial number of existing individuals that are supported by the services and allow them to achieve their identified outcomes. The current provider has to date been successful in demonstrating innovation throughout their service delivery and has successfully incorporated new service elements into their overall service portfolio since the inception of the contract. Extending the contract will allow for this added value to continue as part of the service moving forwards. Ensuring service continuity will be particularly important with respect to maximising the potential of new impending service developments. Also as detailed in the notice this contract is being modified without a tender process being undertaken. In order to publish this notice a figure of 1 was put against the number of tenders received section as a figure of "0" was not accepted by the sell2wales website. (WA Ref:145396)
