Extensions
The Council may, at its sole discretion, extend the Contract for a period of up to 12 months beyond the initial term. Any extension will be subject to satisfactory contractor performance, continued operational requirement, availability of budget, and agreement by the Council. The extension may be exercised by written notice prior to the expiry of the initial contract term.
Options
The Contract includes an option for the Council to extend the term by up to 12 months. During the Contract period, additional works may be instructed under the Contract where such works fall within the scope of the Flat Roofing Replacement Programme and remain within the approved contract value and budget provisions.
