The following sections describe the key components required for delivery of the fertility investigations service in Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Specific objectives of this service are to: • Provide fertility investigations services that are accessible, appropriate, effective and safe representing a high-quality service for patients and value for money to the commissioner. • Provide a personal service sensitive to the physical, psychological and emotional needs of patients. • Deliver high-quality fertility investigations services in line with the NICE care pathway and access criteria produced by local Commissioners. • Work with local Commissioners to constantly drive to achieve service excellence guided by emerging clinical guidance and patient feedback. This contract award has been made following direct award process B. This is a zero-baseline contract, the actual value is dependent upon patient choice, therefore, the overall value will vary depending on patient activity over the contract period.
