What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionYPO are looking to undertake preliminary market engagement to establish a compliant route to market for External Audit Services requiring provision of external audit and related services under the Procurement Act 2023.
The main aim of the solution is to provide access to local authorities to appoint auditors authorised to audit and sign off accounts. Where possible we are also looking to feature routes to market for audit services for other public or third sector bodies such as further education providers, universities, NHS, emergency services, housing associations, and charities.
This is currently planned to be an open framework which will be re-opened at least twice during its lifespan to provide suppliers with further opportunities to bid.

Amended date due to error - previously said eventual open framework would last 6 years, however open frameworks are required to last 8 years. Amended accordingly.
Change to reflect update to internal processes as we request copies of provider T&Cs to serve as a guide for our own T&C which are intended to outline the relationship between YPO and any appointed providers, as well as satisfy both provider and customer requirements at call-off level.
