Expressions of Interest Essential Medicines Services

Norfolk and Waveney ICB are seeking expressions of interest in being commissioned for our Essential medicines scheme.<br/><br/>This scheme will require pharmacies to hold a certain level of named medicines (mainly palliative care) to ensure supply of these medicines are available in urgent situations.<br/><br/>This process is to gather information of those interested parties. Once this is confirmed more details of the service specification will be released.<br/><br/>Please note funding for this service is still awaiting approval so an expression of interest may not guarantee commissioning. This will also be the case if we gain more interest than required where a process of selection will happen using a set criteria which will be based on the needs of the service.<br/><br/>Please note previous enrolment in the service will not guarantee future commissioning therefore if you are already part of this service you will also be required to express your interest if you would like to be considered for a continuation of the service. <br/><br/>We would again like to thank all pharmacy contractors for your continued commitment to the health needs of the population of Norfolk and Waveney.<br/><br/>Please ensure that all expressions of interest are registered by completing the below form by no later than 5pm 10TH May 2024. Any response registered after this point will not be considered for selection unless a local need requires additional commissioning.
