Coverage: 284 active published awards; 282 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Introduction:
Essex County Council's (the Council) current Facilities Management Contract ends on the 30th September 2026. The Council has started on our journey of discovery, regarding how the Facilities Management provision could evolve and innovate beyond this date and would like to engage with the Facilities Management Industry as part of this approach.
Market engagement:
Following our previous market engagement sessions and our RFI, the Council is seeking further engagement with TFM Providers. Throughout November, December, January and February the Council will be hosting a series of market engagement sessions, aimed solely at providers who can provide Hard FM, Soft FM and Programme Management as a single package. The events will aim to cover in detail topics of, the pricing model, specification, KPI’s and climate and social value although this is not an exhaustive list.
If you would like to attend 1-1 discussions on the topics listed above with the Council, Please respond using the message function on Pro Contract Project DN710367. Deadline for responses is Thursday 24th October.
The pre- event briefing, with more details about the first event in November can be found here: https://www.essexproviderhub.org/facilities-management-and-property-re-procurement/live-surveys-and-most-recent-resources/. Please ensure you have read the pre-event briefing before registering your interest for this event.
These events are aimed solely at TFM providers. Please only respond to this event if you are able to provide Hard and Soft FM and Programme Management as a single package. This can be as a self-delivery or via a sub-contracting model.
To be notified of our future upcoming events please visit the Essex Provider Hub https://www.essexproviderhub.org/facilities-management-and-property-re-procurement/introduction/. We release updates of our latest events and all resources relating to the project through our provider hub. Please also ensure you are signed up on our project dashboard Project DN710367 Pro Contract, the Councils eSourcing portal.
