What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionEast Sussex County Council (The Council) invites bids from suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Sensory Impairment Equipment and Support services to Adults over aged 18.
The contract will be for Five (5) years with an option to extend for up to twenty-four (24) months.
Please note that the transfer of staff may apply.
The annual contract value of the service is £252,000 and an additional £100,000 per annum will be allocated for equipment based on historic demand.

Local Government Reorganisation:
There is a possibility that the contract may need to be novated to a different legal contracting entity during the lifetime of the contract. The contract may also need to be modified during the contract lifetime, due to possible boundary changes as a result of local government reorganisation.
Funding increases and decreases:
Where funding available to the Council for the Services increases or decreases during the Contract Period, the Council may vary the Contract Price, Service Specification and Performance Requirements. The Parties shall work collaboratively to agree any amendments required to service delivery arrangements. At the Council's discretion, an increase to the Contract Price may be in line with the Consumer Price Index, or any other index.
