      "features": "The procurement process will consist of two stages:\nStage A - Initial Assessment (Self-Assessment Questionnaire)\nAs part of the Request for Proposal (RFP), suppliers will be required to complete a Self-Assessment Questionnaire comprising 25 questions, designed to assess mandatory capability and eligibility criteria.\nAll participating suppliers will receive the full RFP documentation, including the SAQ.\nSuppliers will be evaluated against predefined assessment criteria.\nOnly those suppliers who demonstrate compliance with all mandatory requirements will progress to the next stage.\nStage B - Request for Proposal (Evaluation and Downselection)\nSuppliers who successfully meet the Stage A requirements will proceed to full evaluation, which will include:\nEvaluation Components:\nQuality of written proposal\nCommercial offer\nDue diligence requirements\nShortlisting:\nUp to four (4) suppliers will be shortlisted\nShortlisted suppliers will be invited to deliver presentations and system demonstrations\nSuppliers not shortlisted will be notified accordingly\nPresentations and Demonstrations:\nSuppliers will be evaluated and ranked based on the published evaluation criteria\nNegotiation Stage:\nNational Grid may invite at least one (1) and up to two (2) suppliers to enter negotiations\nThe inclusion of a second supplier will be at National Grid's discretion\nContract Award:\nFinal negotiations will be conducted to agree contractual and commercial terms\nSubject to successful agreement, a contract award will be made"
