Early Intervention & Prevention in Mental Health and Wellbeing

Essex County Council (ECC), in partnership with Public Health (PH), Adult Social Care (ASC), Children & Families (C&F), and the Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB), is seeking to commission an organisation to design and guide a structured, co-produced process to identify a small number of priority actions for collaboration between partners on early intervention and prevention in emotional wellbeing and mental health across the life course. This requirement relates to the early intervention and prevention pillar of the Essex, Southend and Thurrock (SET) Mental Health Strategy (2023). To date, system partners have focused primarily on acute, crisis and recovery work. ECC now intends to progress the prevention and early intervention commitments.
