Coverage: 92 active published awards; 92 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

The new MRF will be linked to the council’s transition towards a twin-team recycling service targeting the separate collection of Containers and Fibre; over time replacing the outgoing Dry Mixed Recycling service. The new MRF will be designed to be flexible and capable of processing up to 50k tonnes/ annum of the three types of material. The material types will be processed separately in batches. As part of the preparation process for this tender we are looking to gather market intelligence, this will take the form of a market engagement workshop and will give prospective bidders and the council the opportunity to understand the particular technical requirements which may help inform the specification of the project as well as gauge the interest and capacity of potential contractors. The market engagement workshop will be held on Wednesday 9th August 2023, once you have registered your interest in this PIN notice further details will be provided.
