Coverage: 162 active published awards; 158 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

The Torry Heat Network project is a new district heating network for the Torry area of Aberdeen. The EfW, which is being developed as an entirely separate project, and is not part of the scope of this tender. The main drivers for the project are: · Alleviation of fuel poverty - much of the proposed heat network area is identified by the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) as falling within the 20% most deprived communities in Scotland. · To deliver significant carbon savings to support Scottish and UK government targets · To support the EfW project in achieving its targets for the proportion of useful heat delivered and thus demonstrate compliance with its SEPA licencing conditions.
