Coverage: 101 active published awards; 96 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This contract is to supply City of Wolverhampton Council with competent and capable
consultants or fire risk assessors to support the Council to manage its buildings/environments (Live Sites and Future Buildings) as landlords in the provision of fire safety for property, environmental, asset protection and life safety. These include a broad spectrum of buildings, properties with sleeping accommodation, public buildings and environments across the city of Wolverhampton and a variety of building types and ages including listed buildings.
The Consultancy shall help the building’s Responsible Person meet the requirements for Fire

related work as a “Competent Person” and offering clear guidance to The Council on their
legal duties.
The scope includes the reviewing as part of the Fire Risk Assessment the design and
construction of Live Site and Future Buildings. In addition, the administration, management
and inspection of buildings, structures, environments and surrounding areas where relevant

• Fire Risk Assessments– The Council normally requires non-invasive fire risk
assessments which cover the entire building
• Fire engineering advice – typically within the context of a refurbishment
project, to assist in the formulation of an effective fire safety strategy
• General fire safety advice
• Fire door / compartmentation surveys
• Marked up fire strategy plans (where none currently exists or where plans no
