Procurement Scope & Specification
Executive Summary: London Borough of Tower Hamlets: "CS6100 Voluntary and Community Sector Coordinator Services". Published status: active. Published value: £204,019. 1 published lot. Recorded submission deadline: 6 Oct 2026, 12:00 BST. Published submission portal: www.londontenders.org.
Official Requirement Description:
London Borough of Tower Hamlets is committed to developing a thriving Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) sector to assist with shaping its strategic vision and supporting the delivery of key priorities for children, young people and families. The local VCS sector is a valuable partner, and the Council invests significantly in developing and commissioning via the VCS a broad range of services to support children, young people and families that live or have links to the borough.
To support the delivery of the children and young people's strategy, the Council is seeking a Provider that can ensure the continued delivery of the VCS Coordinator Service. The Service will play a key enabling role in ensuring the Council's continued partnership work with voluntary and community sector organisations and the wider third sector, within the borough and beyond, with a specific focus on those organisations who work in the children and young people's sector.
The overall aim behind the Service is to develop stronger, more engaged and sustainable partnerships with a wider range of partners, drawing on the extensive experience and expertise that voluntary and community sector organisations have in responding to the needs, and enriching the lives, of children, young people and families in Tower Hamlets.

Methodology & coverage notes (35 active published awards)
Coverage: 35 active published awards; 42 bid reports (which may be per lot); 30 valued awards. Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Every figure carries an evidence level: Robust (5+ observations), Moderate (3–4), Indicative (1–2). Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.
