CR138: Lift Inspections and Accompanying Reports

Midland Heart has a requirement for the provision of list inspections, and accompanying reports, as required by legislation; namely the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). The supplier shall be required to carry out the LOLER inspections to, and provide the accompanying reports on, all Midland Heart lifting equipment which shall include but not be limited to:• Passenger lifts• Platform lifts• Through the floor lifts• Stair liftswithin the specified timescales in accordance with the Key Performance Indicator Handbook at Schedule 3.The tenderer shall deliver the service to all property assets identified in Schedule 2. The majority of the properties/properties are located throughout the greater Midlands area. However, a small number are located outside of the Midlands area.Full details can be found in Schedule 1- Specification. A full list of the lift equipment and applicable sites can be found in Schedule 2 – Pricing Schedule and Site List.Midland Heart shall award the contract to one supplier.The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with options to extend for up to two additional years thereafter on an annual basis (hence a contract period of 3+1+1).
