Lot details

Standard Tree Work Operations and Specialist Operations

Lot 1 provides the specification for day-to-day tree works for the service. It is expected that Service Providers adhere to i) the specific instructions provided in any Works Order; ii) these specifications; and iii) the guidance of BS3998, in this descending order, to fulfil any Call-Off Contract made under this Framework Agreement.

Statusactive

Emergency Tree Work Operations and Emergency Standby

This Lot provides the specification for Emergency Operations for the Trees Service, and the need to respond to emergencies. These work orders can be throughout the city.

Statusactive

Inspections

For Lot 3, the Authority requires the Provider to carry out tree inspections to assess and record the condition of trees. The purpose of these inspections is to identify significant features which may create a risk of damage or injury to users of the site and wider community. Tree inspections also include an assessment of whether a tree is causing or will soon cause an actionable nuisance or unacceptable highway encroachment under the conditions of the Highways Act. These factors are also included in the Authority’s Inspection Specification.

Statusactive

Epicormic Removal, Cyclical Batch Works Spring-Summer

Nottingham City Council manages approximately 3500 trees along the roadside or greenspace areas that require the removal of epicormic growth to prevent highway encroachment.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 77. The category anchor is Tree-clearing services (77211300); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
