For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.<br/>Regulation 14 Urgent Award has been applied to avoid loss of outreach service due to Provider withdrawal. The award is required to urgently as delay would prevent opportunity for patients to be vaccinated and would likely pose a risk to patient / public safety. This circumstance was not foreseeable and not attributable to the Relevant Authority. <br/>The service is for the region – Nottingham & Nottinghamshire to provide vaccinations to housebound patients.<br/>The Provider has been selected as they demonstrate the ability to deliver the service with existing trained workforce and can mobilise immediately ensuring continuity for patients.<br/>The contract start date is 01 October 2026 with a contract end date of 31 January 2027. The contract period is less than 12 months.<br/>The contract value is £65,000 plus IoS @ £8.70 each (estimate 2,445). Total estimated contract value £86,272.<br/>Details of individual making decisions:<br/>Midlands Vaccination Commissioning Group virtual approval 02 September 2026. Final approval was given by Debbie Stiles-Powell, Senior Programme Manager – Immunisation and Vaccination, NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB and Kerry Wathen, Assistant Director of Vaccination Commissioning, NHS England Midlands on 08 September 2026.<br/>There were no conflicts of interest identified
