What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 70 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 7 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “Procurement for Container Repair & Refurbishment Service” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.

You do not need to be able to provide both services to take part. We encourage suppliers to participate whether they can meet one or both of the requirements, as your feedback will be instrumental in informing the future procurement approach.

Suppliers who wish to participate in this Preliminary Market Engagement exercise should request an RFI questionnaire by emailing:

    [email protected]

Please include the following detail in your message:

"PME - Skip Repairs & Refurbishment - [this notice number]"

    Your Full name

    Your Company name

Contact details (E-mail and phone number)

In return we will send you a non-binding RFI questionnaire which should be completed and returned by 5pm on Friday, 24th of April at the latest.

    Optional supplier meeting:

    • A single Microsoft Teams meeting (up to 1 hour) can be offered upon request to discuss the requirements.
    • Suppliers must specifically request a meeting when contacting the Authority.
    • Meetings are strictly limited to one per company to ensure fairness.

The RFI will request non‑binding information covering capabilities, indicative pricing, lead times, warranty support, logistics, innovation, and supply capacity for both refurbishment and new skip manufacture.

Please do not submit formal tenders or detailed commercial proposals at this stage.

All clarification responses will be shared with participants to ensure transparency.
