Coverage: 83 active published awards; 79 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleBased on the information detailed below, the conclusion is that Integra Biosciences Ltd (the Supplier) is the only provider able to supply the required goods and services to APHA.

- The majority of the required specialist consumables contain registered trademarks (including the GRIPTIPS® pipette tips) and they work interchangeably across many of the Supplier's liquid handling solutions, including the Assist Plus, Viaflo and Mini 96 pipette systems.
- Unique features have been identified for the Supplier's equipment, confirming the requirement for bespoke consumables.
- The Supplier does not use third-parties for sales or servicing (they have a direct (internal) sales and technical service group). They have confirmed they do not endorse or supply OEM parts to external entities.
- Research has indicated no other provider that could supply the range of specialist Integra products required. |
