What is being bought
Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission an experienced contractor to provide Building Cleaning Services to the Communal Areas of the 2 and 3 storey flats managed by Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) on behalf of Colchester City Council. CBH manages 6,175 properties, 18 sheltered schemes and 1006 leaseholders. These properties encompass a variety of different builds of flats that date from the 1950s to the late 1970s and are spread across the borough of Colchester, in locations from rural villages to large estates. The cleaning required will incorporate routine cleaning as stipulated within the tender specification. Tenders should also note that TUPE will apply.
