Coverage: 26 active published awards; 26 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Kent County Council bank with Natwest and over recent years the number of there branches has reduced with more closures expected in the coming years. Therefore Kent Libraries, Registries and Archives (LRA) require a cash collection service to collect and deposit cash and cheques from nine LRA sites where there is no option to pay directly into a bank or post office.

The Kent County Council (KCC) used a further-competition via ESPO Framework "324F_24" to invite all providers to participate in the Further Competition exercise. All Service Providers on Lot 1 – "Cash/Valuables Collection and Civit Services from premises or buildings" of the Framework, were invited to submit a tender. All tenders received (that are compliant i.e. submitted in accordance with the tendering instructions) were evaluated in accordance with the advertised evaluation criteria as set out in the invitation to tender document. This exercise was undertaken to satisfy the requirement for a total of 14 cash collections across 9 Kent LRA sites per month. Due to the rate at which banks are closing in local area, the KCC required a reliable service provider who could adapt to changes to the frequency and location of collections.
