Coverage: 38 active published awards; 38 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham are seeking early market engagement relating to the provision of repair/strengthening a twin bore corrugated steel Armco type culvert with a concrete relieving slab constructed above a GRP segmental lining structure. This relates specifically to a Culvert at Choats road in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The authority will require the provision of design, management, and construction of the repair/strengthening under a works contract. The Borough is issuing a Prior Information Notice (PIN) as a Request for Information (RFI) to alert the market to a possible future tender opportunity. Primary the notice is to gather information so that the organisation can better understand the supply market and capacity in the highly specialised area to feed into the decision process in selecting the Procurement route to market. The (PIN) includes two aspects: 1) Accessing the Opportunity – this is done via the portal, there is no formal process to register interest. 2) Request for Information (RFI) Questionnaire - The purpose of the RFI is to allow the supply market to share any experience that will help inform the specifications and parameters of a subsequent procurement process should it progress. Please download the questionnaire located in the attachments area for suppliers titled “RFI Questionnaire Response Document” complete and upload in the response Area prior to the closing date 14th August.

Please download the questionnaire located in the attachments area for suppliers titled “RFI Questionnaire Response Document” complete and upload in the response Area prior to the closing date. The Borough has been monitoring the structural integrity of a twin bore corrugated steel Armco type culvert with a concrete relieving slab constructed above a GRP segmental lining in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. A Recent General Inspection of the Structure has indicated repair/strengthening of the structure Is required imminently. The borough has implemented traffic reduction measures in the interim to reduce traffic flow related load upon the structure. Therefore, in due course the authority will require the provision of design, management, and construction of these activities under a works contract. The Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not being used as a call for competition or to reduce timescales and as such economic operators will need to express interest in any future tender (if issued) once the appropriate contract notice/s are published in Find a Tender and/or Contracts Finder. The PIN invites Economic Operators to provide market feedback and input by completing the Request For Information (RFI), the RFI is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. The PIN/RFI is intended as an awareness, communication, and information gathering exercise. Accessing the PIN and documentation is no indication of a commitment to participate in the RFI process. No preferential or special status will be gained by Economic Operators in any subsequent procurement who have accessed the opportunity and/or completed the RFI.
