Coverage: 4 active published awards; 3 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

- Lot 1 · #1Individual lot title not publishedplannedPublished valueNot publishedIslington Council have a number of care home contracts, delivered from council buildings, that expire in the next 4-6 years. We are seeking to engage with innovative and dynamic providers of residential and nursing care home services. The purpose is to understand at this early stage the appetite for delivering care homes services in Islington, as well as the opportunities and challenges in the current supplier market. It is an opportunity for suppliers in the care home market to familiarise with the Islington vision and ambitions to meet the future care needs of Islington residents. Islington’s long term strategy for Adult Social Care Accommodation can be found here. Learn more about Islington Adult Social Care Commissioning here. You will find the updated Market Sustainability Plan and Market Position Statement, which outline the needs, demand and challenges in Islington. Suppliers (both current and potential new suppliers) are invited to attend a market engagement event where Islington commissioners will share future ambitions and high-level plans. The event offers an opportunity for suppliers to ask questions and network. The market event will take place via Teams on Wednesday 27 November 2024 from 10 am to 11 am. Suppliers interested in this opportunity are invited to register your interest by emailing sophia.stevens@islington.gov.uk. Please register your interest by Monday 25 November 2024. Once registered for the event you will receive joining instructions. This is not an invitation to tender nor does it preclude or favour eligibility to participate in the formal procurement once it starts. It is a process solely to start to test the current market capacity, to scope the services, engage with a wide range of stakeholders and inform the future procurement process. Details in this PIN are subject to being updated or changed in the final contract notices. The Council reserves the right to cancel, postpone, suspend or abort this procurement at any stage. The issue of this PIN in no way commits the Council to commence the procurement process. The contract notice will be published on the e-tendering system used by Islington Council, the London Tenders Portal (ProContract). We would advise you to register on the e-tendering system now in order that you receive an email alert when the contract notice is published.
