What is being bought

Camden Council Adults’ Commissioning Team are in the process of recommissioning care and support at home services by 1 October 2026. By care and support at home, we mean services that are sometimes called homecare and reablement or short-term and ongoing care and support. We have an ambitious transformation plan to better support our residents who draw on care and support at home. We believe language matters and so do the views and experiences of the people who draw on care and support. We’d like to invite prospective providers to a market engagement event where we will share our early ideas on the new model of care and support we’re working towards in Camden, and enable you an opportunity to feedback to us. In addition to this, we would welcome input into our Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA). To do this we will be holding a separate meeting with interested partners, carers and residents to ensure our EQIA reflects wider market trends and the views of people experiencing care and support at home in Camden. Both events will be held online at the following dates and times: Equality Impact Assessment Workshop – 5th August at 14:00 – 15:30 Market Engagement Event Workshop - 12th August at 10:00 – 11:30 We look forward to seeing you there. Please log onto (or register) the portal and send a message with your organisation name and the email addresses of the people/person who will be attending. You can access the tender portal here https://procontract.due-north.com/SupplierRegistration/Register Please note a market testing questionnaire may also be published following the events above. If this is the case this notice will be updated with relevant instructions.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 85. The category anchor is Social work services without accommodation (85312000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Indicative price outcome

£122,507,890 is the median lowest-valid-bid benchmark for the broad CPV market sample, against this procedure’s published value of £188,300,000.

This is a historical comparator, not a bid-price forecast or a guaranteed saving. It excludes records where the published values cannot be sensibly compared and does not adjust for lot structure, quality weighting, framework terms or scope.
