What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionGJNH require a single supplier to provide Cardiac Theatre Nursing Staff Teams. Teams will consist of the following staff:
-Anaesthetic practitioner x 1 (RN band 5 or 6)
-Theatre Assistant/HCSW x 1 (Band 2 or 3)
-Theatre Scrub Practitioner x 1 (RN or ODP band 5/6)
-Circulating Nurse/ODP x 1 (band 4/5/6) (must be able to scrub for the speciality)
N.B. The following is mandatory:
-The Theatre Scrub Practitioner (Band 5/6) must work with Band 4 Scrub/Circulating practitioner.
-The Circulating Nurse/ODP x 1 (band 4/5/6) must be able to scrub for the specialty.
Contract start date is 10th January 2022.
The contract duration will be for 11 weeks, with an option to extend for 2 x 13 week periods at the Boards discretion.

Minimum: It is a requirement of this contract that Economic Operators hold or can commit to obtain prior to any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance indicated below: 4B.5.1a - Professional Risk Insurance, 5m GBP 4B.5.1b - Employer's Liability Insurance, 5m GBP … - Technical & professional ability
With reference to SPD question 4C.1.2,Economic Operators must provide relevant examples using the template provided within the additional documents section of the portal.
Minimum: Examples must include a minimum of three (3) relevant examples from the last three (3) years with contact details of references for each example. N.B. references may be contacted by NHS Golden Jubilee.
- Price carries 65 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6.5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
