Coverage: 44 active published awards; 44 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe market structure suggests an oligopoly, however as our current network is made up of Vaisala sensors and components, previous procurement exercises have suggested monopolistic competition where only Vaisala can provide the full provision. This we believe is due to the cost of change and each of the providers not being able to support each others components and collation of data from said components. If to be fully tender, we do not believe a differing outcome would be achieved due to the factors mentioned above. |
