What is being bought
Haringey Council ("the Council") is preparing to recommence the commissioning of bundled hours of the Home Support and Reablement Services. The service will be procured in two distinct lots; Lot 1 Home Support Services and Lot 2 Reablement Service
Our vision for Homecare is one that achieves excellent outcomes for individuals. Likewise, our Reablement Service offer is rooted in a 'doing with' approach which empowering people to actively participate in their recovery and daily living.
The Provider plays a vital role in delivering care and support in a manner that enables people to continue to improve the skills they need to maintain their independence in their own home.
As part of our broader engagement strategy, we are inviting all interested organisations to participate in a virtual premarket engagement event to help shape the future service model and inform the development of the service specification.
The Premarket engagement event will include:
• Review of the previous Bundled Hours contract and its strengths and areas for improvement.
• Feedback from contract monitoring, provider forums and the Summit.
• Outline of the proposed updated model of Home Care and Reablement services respectively.
• providers to feedback about proposed new model, which will help shape it further.
• outlined the indicative procurement process and timetable.
It will also offer potential service providers the opportunity to raise any questions or present any views prior to proceeding to the next phase of our commissioning programme.
