BHCC HP Madeira Terrace Restoration - Phase 1 - Market Engagement Session 1

The main scope of the contract is for the works to restore the first phase of Brighton's 865mtr long Madeira Terrace. The first phase will see 41 of the total 151 arches restored, re-purposed and facilitating greater ease of access to the eastern beachfront for people. Details on how to engage with the Council are included in Section II.2.14. Additional information. This is not a call for competition, a separate Contract Notice will be published when a procurement procedure commences. The information given in this notice is demonstrative of current thinking for interested organisations to understand the potential scope. The Council make no guarantee that any or all of the services and scope detailed in this notice will be included in the same format in any future procurement. Additional information: Interested parties are invited to attend an online/virtual Pre-Tender Market Engagement event via MS Teams on Wednesday 13th October 2021. We expect the session to be a maximum of two hours. Please be aware that your name and email address may be visible to other participants during the meeting and on the invitation. The deadline for receipt of booking forms is 14:00 on Tuesday 12th October 2021 (one day before the event). We're inviting up to two participants per organisation and will send you an invitation to the virtual MS Teams meeting. Information from the market engagement event or any further market activity the Council undertakes will form part of the procurement document 'set' and be made available to all bidders. Participation (or non-participation) in the market engagement event will not give an advantage or disadvantage should the Council proceed with a formal procurement process in the future.
