The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 does not apply to this award.

The contract will be awarded by NHS South East London ICB (hereafter referred to as "The Authority") to the existing provider following a Direct Award Process C for the following services:

Tier 3 Intermediate Community Dermatology delivers treatment for a range of non-complex care to Bexley and Greenwich residents in community settings closer to patients' homes. The service is a consultant-led service, operating between existing Primary Care and Secondary Care services. The service operates in 6 locations across the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich. Uniquely, this service offers a step-up and step-down (from LGT) service, and the capability of putting patients requiring urgent appointments directly into a secondary care clinic appointment when clinically appropriate. The service also operates via a RAS, and benefits from the strong relationship with LGT Clinical Dermatology Lead who provides mentoring to GPwERs, triage support / guidance to the service clinical lead.

Due to the current provider currently meeting all contractual requirements to a satisfactory level, it is the intention of the authority to enter into contract for the period of 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 with an optional two-year extension. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 02/04/2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
