Lot #1Temporary and Longer term Supported AccommodationCancelled

In Temporary Supported Accommodation Service Users will be expected to be prepared to transition to a less intensively supported form of accommodation or independent accommodation with or without ongoing support.

In Longer Term Supported Accommodation Service Users will be supported to maximise their independence and/or receive help to develop and maintain the skills to live as independently as possible. There is no expectation for move on if support needs are on-going however individuals may need support to move on to more appropriate accommodation in line with their support needs.

Due to the range and complexity of needs a specialism related to a specific support need maybe requested for individual schemes i.e substance misuse, mental health. Additional information: This opportunity is now closed

Lot #2Managed AccommodationCancelled

Managed Supported Accommodation is the provision of short to medium-term self - contained furnished accommodation based within the community. Engagement with support is linked to the provision of accommodation. When exiting the Service, Service Users will either: (i) move from the accommodation into suitable alternative accommodation, or (ii) continue to live within the property on a permanent basis and the Service Provider will be required to source alternative accommodation for future Service Users. Additional information: This opportunity is now closed

Delivery: Wales
Lot #3Permanent Supported Accommodation (Housing First)Cancelled

Housing First is an approach to supporting people with high level, multiple and complex needs designed to deliver a sustainable exit from homelessness by helping individuals access an independent tenancy as quickly as possible and providing the support they need for as long as they need it to sustain their accommodation.

Service Users will often have histories of entrenched difficulties with interrelated health and support needs which significantly impact their life and ability to function in society. Alternative supported accommodation options and other service offers are often incapable of supporting individuals with these overlapping needs. Additionally, many service users accessing Housing First may have previously experienced disruption and instability as a result of the break-down of other accommodation and support arrangements. • Price carries 35 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 3.5 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “AWARD Framework Agreement for Temporary and Longer Term Supported…” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
