The Sponsor acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), facilitating correct conversations, dealing with any project issues and entering the client into an appropriate Agreement for the requested works to be undertaken\nLot 2 Engineering\nWe require engineering support to fulfil the requirements under NR/L2/RSE/02009 Engineering Management for Projects in the following roles as per the requirements of NR/L2/RSE/02009/01 in our engineering teams:\nDesignated Project Engineer / Senior Asset Protection Engineer (NR Band 3)\nProject Engineer (discipline) / Asset Protection Engineer (NR Band 4)\nAssistant Project Engineer (discipline) / Assistant Asset Protection Engineer (NR Band 5)\nThe key activities include:\nUndertake reviews of design and construction activities, ensuring compliance to relevant standards and legislation.\nLead the consultation between project team, designer and the applicable Network Rail Route Engineers throughout the design development stages (third party projects). \nIn the following disciplines:\nCivil Engineering (including Geotechnical) \nStructural Engineering\nTelecommunications (Commercial and Operational)\nSignalling\nElectrification (E and P)\nTrack\nBuildings\nBuilding Services (M and E)\nLot 3 Construction Management and Planning\nWe require support to fulfil the following roles in our teams:\nConstruction Management\nConstruction Manager (NR Band 4)\nAssistant Construction Manager (NR Band 5)\nConstruction Management Assistant (NR Band 6)\nThese roles provide safety assurance of Outside Party and third party works through the review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and where necessary by attendance on site.  They may also take on safety critical responsibilities (COSS, ES, etc.) when required.\nPlanning:\nWorks Planner (NR Band 4)\nWorks Scheduler (NR Band 5)\nThese roles are involved in the booking of access to the railway, eg Possessions, line blockages and isolations, the preparation of Safe System of Work Packs and the sourcing and allocation of safety critical staff"
