Coverage: 13 active published awards; 10 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The AgorIP (Open IP) Programme provides an Intellectual Property management and Technology Transfer service to academia, University Health Boards, SMEs and industrial collaborators, servicing a pipeline of Intellectual Property exploitation and commercialisation opportunities at various levels of Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs).
AgorIP, which is partially funded by the Welsh Government and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is now pan-Wales, running in parallel across the West Wales & the Valleys and East Wales Regions. The AgorIP Programme runs to 30th June 2023.
In order to deliver the required outputs from this Programme, AgorIP through Swansea University, requires specialist support from a range of professional service firms. This support will take various forms as set out in the particulars below.
AgorIP has identified the need to engage a Design & Development Services Provider to work along-side its Team of Technology Transfer Managers (TTMs) to offer additional support to its Project Partners during the design and development stage of an opportunity in line with the TRLs.
As a result, Swansea University is procuring the services of a Company/Organisation to serve as its Design & Development Services Provider.
With the advice and guidance of the TTM managing the individual opportunity, the Design & Development Services Provider will perform the services. The University welcomes bids from sole tenderers or as part of a consortium.
