What is being bought
Pickie Funpark is a family Funpark and visitor attraction in the City of Bangor, Co Down, Northern Ireland and is owned by Ards and North Down Borough Council (the Council). It is situated at Bangor seafront, facing Bangor Marina and a short stroll from the North Down Coastal Path. Following the approval of development funding under the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD), the Council is seeking to secure the services of an experienced Operator to manage, develop and operate this established family visitor attraction. The agreement term will be for up to a maximum 25 year period or as otherwise agreed to include a right of the Council to a break clause commensurate with the return on the level of investment. Final agreement for the Contract Period will be determined through the procurement process and subsequent negotiations as part of the overall process and will be derived from the level of investment proposed by the Operator. It is anticipated that the operating agreement will commence on 1st March 2025.
